Fawn is really a genuine and kind soul. I researched midwifes thoroughly and met with several before selecting her services. She has been in the industry a very long time and has an incredible amount of experience. Not only that but her love and passion for natural home birth is felt the minute you speak to her. She wasn't on some high horse ego trip either trying to shove natural birth or her views on us, rather just informing and educating us so that we could make our own informed decisions on what we wanted. I really appreciated her authenticity and warm spirit and would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants someone who is knowledgable, kind, and responsive.

From our first visit with fawn I knew she was meant to be my midwife. My first impressions of her warm, welcoming, calm, sweet, and experienced. Having been a midwife for over 40 years I felt safe and confident in choosing her. I am a first time mom and honestly never thought I would be having a home birth with my first child. It was a wonderful experience, if I ever have another baby I would be coming come back to fawn without a doubt for round two. Fawn and her assistant midwife in training Olivia helped me feel as prepared as I could providing me with birthing classes, nutrition, safe exercises advice, meal ideas, concealing, books to read, and anything and everything else I had questions on. She has always been there whenever I needed her even after our last postpartum visit. She went over just about any scenario that could arise and how it would be handled. My family and I were always treated with respect and loving care. They are genuine and truly care about so much more than just getting your baby out safely. They are more than just midwifes and the women that were by my side during my labor they became life long friends. Going to our prenatal and postpartum visits was always something I enjoyed coming to and looked forward to. I'm still going to continue popping in just to visit with these wonderful beautiful ladies! I could go on and on about all they have done for me. They went beyond anything I could have ever imagined for myself my family and my son. I would recommend Fawn's services to anyone wanting to have a home birth. I'm so blessed to have came across what I believe to be one of the best midwifes out there. P.s. We safely delivered a perfectly healthy and beautiful 10 pound 3 ounce baby boy that day. I couldn't have done it with them. God only knows he would have been a c-section anywhere else!

We weren't supposed to have kids so our first pregnancy was a surprise, we were in Florida until about the 4th month. When we arrived in California we met with Fawn. I knew right away I wanted to birth with Fawn. She had a very warm spirit. Unfortunately, I never went into labor and after trying everything up to 43 weeks (even yucky castor oil) we decided on an induction. After trying for close to a day and not getting past 1cm, we ended up having a c-section and my son was transferred to the nicu. Fawn came to the hospital with us. I really wanted to do the placenta encapsulation but the hospital kept it too long. Fawn came to the hospital several times to check up on me and to try to get the placenta as well. My son was transferred to the nicu and Fawn let us stay at her house that was closer to the hospital. When we found out we we're pregnant again we knew we wanted to try for a vbac so we contacted Fawn. We did it! Hbac success with our favorite team: Sacramento Midwifery Services. We love Fawn like family. Very friendly, informative and professional. Prenatal visits always felt like we were right at home. It's nice to have a health care provider that cares so deeply about everyone involved: pregnant mama, husband, my toddler. I'm really going to miss the prenatal visits!! I am so grateful and thankful for our hbac. Fawn and her assistant Olivia were a huge help in letting me achieve my dream home birth. I highly recommend going with Sacramento Midwifery Service

Fawn and Olivia are the absolute best team you could ask for! I decided on a home birth for my third baby. I had scheduled several interviews for midwives, but I cancelled all of them after meeting with Fawn and Olivia. I felt a connection with them immediately and I knew they were the right team to help our family welcome our newest member. They really got to know our whole family and took their time at each prenatal visit. By the time labor came around, it felt like I had two good friends assisting me. I felt so safe in their care. My prenatal care and delivery were everything I had hoped for.
